MY STYLE FIX: PRETTY PAISLEY DRESS

Prints and patterns are a great way to infuse a bit of fun and whimsy into your style, horizontal stripes notwithstanding, unless you have a perverse desire to have your backside appear wider than normal.
If looking like a beached whale isn't your intention then horizontal stripes should be avoided. Instead, opt for a pretty paisley print, which will only enhance your morale as oppose to your behind.

MY STYLE FIX: SKATER CUTOUT DRESS

The cutout trend is perfect for the summer when done tastefully as opposed to gratuitously exposing your secret garden to the world.
When strategically placed, the cutouts can range anywhere from decorative to sexy without compromising what's left of your dignity.

MY STYLE FIX: SUMMER COLORBLOCK

Color-blocking is transformative not in a life altering I won the lottery way, but it can make any outfit look like a million bucks.
The pops of color can bring life to an otherwise plain outfit, which clearly isn't a cash prize, but the results are nevertheless priceless.

MY STYLE FIX: GIRLY ROCKER FLARE

Wearing skirts and high heels doesn't mean that you're some dainty delicate flower whose favorite color is some variation of pink.
It only denotes that crossing your legs is a must, and that's only if you have qualms about showing your moneymaker to the world.
Nowadays skirts aren't just meant for those pink loving girly girls, whose lives are in shambles should they break a nail or lose a curl.
When paired with relaxed, casual, masculine pieces, this feminine skirt would be something that even Joe Polniaczek would be proud to wear.

MY STYLE FIX: A SWEATSHIRT DRESS

There's nothing worse than traveling in tight clothing, plunging into the ocean mid-flight and bursting into flames notwithstanding.
Wearing loose clothing like a sweatshirt dress can be the difference between spending hours on wedgie removal or sitting comfortably.

MY STYLE FIX: PRETTY GAP FLOWERS

Going casual doesn't have to mean schlepping around like a hobo in clothes that's more suitable for the trash than on the back of any man.
It also doesn't denote being one step removed from donning a sparkly dress. A simple pair of khaki shorts and a blouse will suffice.

MY STYLE FIX: HIGH-WAISTED SHORTS

High-waisted shorts are flattering, leading people to think that even the most vertically challenged person has legs that go on for days.
Accenting your tiny waist and the above are a few of the many perks of this trend, living with misleading trusting people notwithstanding.

MY STYLE FIX: FLORAL SKATER SKIRT

Flared out into an A-line silhouette, the skater skirt is the answer to the prayers of those of us with a little thunder in the thighs.
This classic staple is flattering thanks to a full skirt that acts as a shroud of darkness concealing the horror that lies beneath.
